DANGERS of the RIVERS

All the rivers are known as spate rivers - in other words river levels are directly related to the recent rainfall. A heavy downfall will, within hours raise the water level to dangerous heights.

Deaths have occurred on the river in such conditions, so please take care - Do not wade during such times.

(The use of a life jacket when wading is recommended at all times)
